Tango

Tango is an ancient PCB tool that can be run in the DOS emulator DOSBOX.

Unfortunately, Tango exports gerbers in the RS-274D format, but we need the files in the RS-274X Extended Gerber format. It may be possible to manually convert the headers of each layer into the RS-274X format, but we recommend migrating to a newer CAD package, such as KiCad.

Convert Tango files to KiCad

There are a couple of scripts to convert Tango files to KiCad, a free open source CAD package. Unfortunately, development on KiCad has continued and the scripts are now out of date. These links are included for reference, in case they might be helpful.
